Hanging bowls are fused and slumped from 100% recycled glass. All these are sold but similar items may be in stock at the gallery on Tiree. Designed as decorative wall hangings the bowls sit happily on the wall secured by one nail. 400 mm diameter.

These platters are drilled in four corners to allow the platter to double as a vertical or landscape wall hanging. The perfect storage solution!

Tiree Glass awards are bespoke, sturdy, beautiful and 100% recycled. The awards start life as redundant 4mm window glass which cannot currently be locally recycled. The double glazed units are stripped and cleaned and carefully processed to ensure compatibility. Following a design process with the client the transformation begins.
After creating a full size template the glass is cut and the lettering and logo applied. Two kiln firings follow, one to fuse the design together and the second to slump or shape the design using a mould.

These are extra thick slabs of glass created by layering glass in a deep mould to contain it as it cooks and prevent it from spreading. The thick slabs require extra time in the kiln for controlled cooling. The result is dramatic. Suitable for wall mounting, architectural details or a spot on the window sill. 100% recycled glass.
